Bees place 6th at Polar Bear Tournament

The defending champion Medina Bees didn't fare so well this Saturday at the Polar Bear Tournament hosted by Jackson High School. 

They fell 0-2 to Olentangy Bears to open the day. In the consolation bracket, they lost to arch rival Brunswick Blue Devils, again!, 0-2 and beat the Kilborne Hornets 2-1 to finish the day 1-2. They Bees are now 2-3 for the 2016 season.

Senior Andrew Johnson earned All-Torrnamnet Team with 21 kills, 5, blocks & 2 aces for the day, Sophomore Thomas Supan added 12 kills, 2 blocks and an ace. Junior Cole Febus added 6 kills and an ace. Senior setter Christian Bonnell had 3 kills, 41 assists! and 2 aces. 

The Bees play next Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at Stow.
